Senior QA Automation Engineer (Java)

About the role

DXC Luxoft is hiring a Senior QA Automation Engineer in Wroclaw, Poland, for its Investment Bank IT team (Agency Trading - Market Engineering Crew). The team manages global applications and is building a strategic middle office solution with a proprietary low-latency framework. The role covers automated testing of backend APIs, UI components and end-to-end IDP document processing flows.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain automated tests for backend APIs, UI components and end-to-end IDP document processing flows
• Build and extend test automation frameworks with a focus on maintainability, scalability and clear reporting
• Support automated regression testing across document types, attributes and onboarding scenarios
• Validate extracted results against expected data, golden datasets and structured ground-truth files
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and improve feedback loops for developers
• Analyze test failures, investigate defects and work with developers to find root causes
• Maintain and improve test data handling for anonymized datasets
• Contribute to test strategy, quality gates, release readiness and continuous improvement of QA processes
• Collaborate with developers, DevOps engineers, product owners and business stakeholders in an agile delivery model

Required profile

• 8+ years of hands-on experience in core Java development
• Fluent English
• Comfortable working independently and in a team
• Strong communication skills and ability to understand business requirements

Required skills

• Core Java, OOPS, collections, API design and multithreading
• Unix with shell scripting
• JUnit unit testing
• CI/CD and Git version control
• Nice to have: Python, GitLab CI/CD, testing of AI-assisted or document-processing systems
