Software Engineer Intern – Security (Warsaw)

About the role

Snowflake is building the next generation of the agentic enterprise and needs AI‑native thinkers to help reinvent how work gets done. As a Security Software Engineer Intern you will join a fast‑moving team, applying curiosity and experimental mindset to real‑world security challenges.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement enterprise‑grade, reliable, and secure software services at cloud scale.
• Identify, analyze, and remediate security vulnerabilities in large‑scale distributed systems.
• Develop security tooling and automation using Python and Java.
• Collaborate with product managers and engineers to deliver customer‑facing security features.

Required profile

• Actively enrolled in an accredited university program, preferably in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics or related fields.
• Completed coursework in algorithms, data structures, and operating systems; security‑related courses are a plus.
• Strong problem‑solving ability, quick learning in a dynamic environment, and experience working in a team.
• Working proficiency in English, as the team operates in an English‑language environment.
