Platform Infrastructure Engineer

About the role

Snowflake is building the Data Cloud Platform at massive scale and needs engineers who treat AI as a trusted collaborator. As a Platform Infrastructure Engineer you will help design, build, and operate highly scalable, resilient infrastructure that powers billions of daily queries across multiple cloud providers.

Key responsibilities

• Develop a deep understanding of Snowflake’s global infrastructure and services.
• Design, build, and operate highly scalable, resilient, and performant infrastructure components.
• Provide technical leadership on large, complex projects involving platforms, tools, and automation.
• Drive adoption of the platform across development teams to meet business goals.
• Mentor junior engineers, championing code quality, documentation, and best practices.

Required profile

• BS/CS, MS/CS, or equivalent degree.
• 2+ years experience on a platform or cloud team supporting mission‑critical SaaS services.
• Strong software engineering fundamentals and coding skills.
• 1+ years experience with cloud computing (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem‑solving abilities.
