Senior Site Reliability Engineer

About the role

ShiftKey is a healthcare technology platform that connects facilities with licensed professionals. The Senior Site Reliability Engineer will own reliability for the regulated marketplace, working with a seasoned team and shaping the function.

Key responsibilities

• Own reliability, availability and operational health of the healthcare marketplace platform.
• Mentor a mid‑level engineer and help define the growing reliability function.
• Work across cloud infrastructure, container orchestration and infrastructure‑as‑code to keep the platform reliable and auditable.
• Develop production automation scripts on a daily basis.
• Collaborate with a sibling engineering team to reduce their ad‑hoc support.

Required profile

• Extensive hands‑on experience managing production cloud infrastructure, container orchestration and infrastructure‑as‑code, with the ability to debug incidents under pressure.
• Strong scripting/automation skills in at least one general‑purpose programming language.
• Proven ability to work autonomously and make judgment calls without constant oversight.
• Experience mentoring other engineers.
