Senior Manager, Data Transformation

About the role

LSEG (London Stock Exchange Group) is looking for a Senior Manager, Data Transformation to guide the transformation of Content Operations through the design, implementation and adoption of strategic technology capabilities. The role acts as a bridge between business, operations and technology teams to modernise processes, reduce complexity and drive automation at scale. It also defines the transformation strategy, product direction and technology roadmap, and leads a team of seven to fifteen Content Operations Transformation Leads.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop the team, set objectives and priorities, and build capability through mentoring and training
• Manage resource planning, workload and capacity, and support career development and succession planning
• Help define the vision, roadmap and priorities for content infrastructure, own business cases, product requirements and release plans
• Drive adoption of new tools, processes and ways of working, and lead technology-enabled transformation initiatives
• Develop migration and adoption strategies for replacing legacy tools and processes
• Build relationships with Product, Technology, Operations, Data Strategy, Risk and Governance teams, and influence senior leaders without direct reporting authority
• Define team performance metrics, KPIs and success measures, and maintain operational controls, governance and quality standards

Required profile

• Proven experience leading, managing and developing teams in an operational, transformation, product or technology environment
• Experience balancing strategic responsibilities with operational delivery, and leading teams through significant change
• Experience working across business and technology functions, defining roadmaps and business cases, and managing complex stakeholder environments
• Experience establishing and reporting against KPIs and performance metrics
• Strong written, verbal and presentation skills

Preferred: experience in financial markets, data management or content operations, and with workflow automation and AI-enabled tools.
