Risk AI Data Scientist

About the role

ING Hubs Poland is hiring a Risk AI Data Scientist to integrate advanced AI into the bank's risk management, including credit risk model maintenance. You will build and steer AI solutions such as LLM-powered apps, fine-tuned models, machine learning and agentic AI workflows, and help design the cognitive layer of the bank's risk management environment so that AI becomes production-ready and compliant.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement agentic AI workflows (ADK) for the risk domain
• Evaluate and monitor GenAI systems, for example hallucinations, quality and drift
• Work with large-scale unstructured data (documents, PDFs, OCR)
• Build NLP pipelines to extract signals such as transaction patterns and legal clauses from unstructured text
• Prototype custom models by fine-tuning open-weight models (e.g. Llama, Mistral) on GCP GPUs
• Write clean, modular, production-ready Python code for models, workflows and application components

Required profile

• Master's degree in computer science, mathematics or economics
• Advanced Python practice in AI solutions, including PyTorch/TensorFlow experience
• Experience building LLM-powered applications and agentic AI workflows
• Experience handling and governing structured and unstructured textual and numerical data
• End-to-end pipeline experience (data to model to deployment)
