Oracle Database Developer – Financial Markets

About the role

ING Hubs Poland is hiring an Oracle Database Developer for its Financial Markets business in Katowice. You will design, build and maintain data workflows, ETL/ELT pipelines and integration processes, and own your solutions end-to-end, from design through implementation, testing and production support. The role is part of a global team working in an Agile setup.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain data workflows, ETL/ELT pipelines and integration processes
• Develop robust Oracle-based data solutions powering transactional and near real-time systems
• Build high-performance, secure and scalable data processing pipelines
• Build automation, monitoring and testing frameworks for data workflows
• Collaborate with global teams in an Agile setup and drive continuous improvement

Required profile

• Strong problem-solving and solution design skills
• Experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps is a plus)
• Comfortable working in distributed, international teams
• Ownership, clear communication, curiosity and a drive to improve systems and teams

Required skills

• Strong Oracle and SQL (5+ years); advanced PL/SQL including stored procedures, packages and functions
• Triggers, views, materialized views and performance tuning
• Transaction management, locking and optimization
• Python and shell scripting (5+ years) for automation and data processing
• Experience designing data pipelines and near real-time or transactional systems
• Banking experience (5+ years), ideally Financial Markets, and knowledge of exchange-listed products (equities, commodities) are a plus
