People Strategy Consultant (18-month contract, option to extend)

About the role

Mercer is looking for a People Strategy Consultant to join its European Consulting Team in Warsaw. You will contribute to strategic HR consulting projects for global organizations and their Marsh partners across Europe, covering talent, rewards and organization design. Depending on your experience, you will cover the full consulting project lifecycle or selected stages, including identifying and developing opportunities, preparing proposals and executing projects directly with clients. The role is hybrid.

Key responsibilities

• Drive consulting projects across talent, rewards and organization design topics
• Advise clients on developing and implementing people and rewards strategies
• Prepare client presentations, reports and workshop materials
• Carry out research, analysis and benchmarking to produce actionable insights
• Build trusted relationships with clients and internal stakeholders
• Coordinate and support project delivery across workstreams and geographies
• Work closely with colleagues across the region and the Warsaw hub

Required profile

• Strong consulting background, ideally in consulting, professional services or a strategic in-house advisory environment
• 4+ years of experience in consulting, HR advisory, people strategy or a related field
• Fluent written and spoken English
• Commercial mindset and confidence working with senior stakeholders
• Experience managing projects end-to-end and coordinating across teams is an advantage
• Proficiency in another European language is an advantage
