HR Operations Intern (Dutch Speaker)

About the role

ABB is looking for a detail-oriented HR Operations Intern to support HR processes for its employees in Belgium and the Netherlands. The position reports to the Junior HR Team Lead and offers hands-on experience in employee lifecycle management, HR administration and HR systems within an international environment.

Key responsibilities

• Process HR transactions in SAP and Workday
• Support employee lifecycle activities, including employee data maintenance and onboarding-related processes
• Handle and resolve HR-related requests from employees
• Support basic payroll-related activities and administrative processes
• Update and maintain internal HR procedures and documentation
• Ensure the accuracy and quality of employee data in HR systems

Required profile

• Active student status
• Fluency in Dutch and English (minimum B2 level)
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
• Curiosity, eagerness to learn and a proactive attitude
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of assigned tasks
• Good organisational and communication skills

Required skills

• Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
• Experience with SAP and Workday is mentioned as part of the exposure offered
