Lead Java Full Stack Developer

About the role

Emergn is looking for a Lead Java Full Stack Developer to design, develop and maintain high‑performance, scalable Java applications. You will provide technical leadership and ensure deliverables meet best practices and business requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership in designing, coding, testing and deploying Java‑based applications.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define project scope, architecture and delivery timelines.
• Conduct code reviews, promote coding standards and best practices.
• Troubleshoot, debug and optimise applications for performance and scalability.
• Mentor other developers and facilitate knowledge sharing.

Required profile

• 8+ years of experience in Java development focused on high‑performance applications.
• Strong expertise in Spring, Spring Boot and Hibernate.
• Experience with RESTful API development and front‑end technologies such as Angular and React.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Proven experience in technical leadership, project management and agile methodologies.
