Frontend Developer (React / Next.js)

About the role

The Frontend Developer will create reliable, responsive user interfaces based on approved designs and API contracts. You will work independently on feature delivery, troubleshoot browser issues, and ensure code quality through testing and reviews.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain UI components using React, Next.js, TypeScript and modern hooks.
• Implement designs accurately from Figma or similar visual specifications.
• Integrate REST APIs, handling loading, error, empty and partial‑data states.
• Write unit and component tests with Vitest or Jest and React Testing Library.
• Debug cross‑browser issues using DevTools and contribute to code reviews.

Required profile

• 4–6 years of professional experience in frontend development.
• Strong understanding of component lifecycle, memoisation and performance optimisation.
• Proficiency with modern build tools such as Vite or comparable frameworks.

Required skills

• React, Next.js, TypeScript, hooks‑based development.
• State‑management libraries: Zustand, Redux Toolkit.
• HTML5, CSS3, SCSS, responsive layout techniques.
• Accessibility fundamentals (ARIA, keyboard navigation).
• Design systems: IBM Carbon, Material UI or similar.
• REST API integration and error handling.
• Testing frameworks: Vitest, Jest, React Testing Library.
• Git branching, pull‑requests and collaborative workflows.
