Junior Project Coordinator – Railway Projects

About the role

Hitachi Rail is looking for a Junior Project Coordinator in Cracow to support the Project Manager in delivering railway projects. The role covers administrative coordination and preparing, supervising and registering key project documentation. It is a full-time position based in Cracow.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate the activities supporting the Project Manager in managing the project.
• Gather data from construction managers for schedules and reports.
• Prepare financial reports and settlements for the Contract Engineer.
• Supervise project and technical documentation, including registration, verification and archiving.
• Handle project correspondence, including letters, correspondence registers and formal and substantive checks.
• Take part in internal and external project meetings and record minutes.
• Carry out other tasks supporting the project.

Required profile

• Higher technical education; transport, electrical, electronic or civil engineering degrees preferred.
• First professional experience, including working with project documentation (railway automation or telecommunications experience welcome).
• Good organisational skills, accuracy and ability to coordinate tasks.
• Communication skills and teamwork.
• English at a level allowing work with project documentation.
• Category B driving licence.

Required skills

• Very good knowledge of MS Office, including Excel and PowerPoint.
• Technical planning and work with schedules and project documentation.
• Project management tools (MS Office).
