HR Associate (German-speaking)

About the role

The HR Associate is part of the EMEA HR Solutions Center team, which acts as the first point of contact for HR-related questions. It supports employees with general HR queries and managers with employee lifecycle administration, and delivers regional HR programs and specialized solutions such as HR process and project management, HR policy and compliance, HR technology and HR reporting. The role provides first-level support across the region on topics ranging from policy and procedures to technology support.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to HR-related inquiries via email, chat and the case system
• Guide employees on HR policies (EPR, goals, merit and talent reviews), escalating as needed
• Promote self-service tools such as Workday and support user accountability
• Process and audit employee transactions in Workday
• Support key HR initiatives, training logistics and communications
• Drive process improvements in HR services and inquiries
• Handle general admin tasks such as report preparation and keep clients updated on delivery expectations

Required profile

• Fluency in German and English, both written and spoken
• Interest in HR; previous experience is a plus
• Experience managing the full employee lifecycle, from offers and contracts to terminations
• Analytical mindset with an interest in process improvement
• Proactive, responsible and adaptable, willing to learn new tools and technologies
