Head of Legal

About the role

SINGU, a fast-growing PropTech company behind a CAFM platform for warehouse, logistics, retail and multi-site commercial real estate, is hiring its first in-house legal counsel. You will build the legal function from the ground up and become the day-to-day owner of legal risk across the Group, working closely with the Group CFO. The role reports to the CFO, sits alongside the Executive Leadership Team and supports the Board. It is based in London, Warsaw or Krakow, hybrid with regular office presence and occasional travel.

Key responsibilities

• Commercial contracts and deal support: own the customer contract suite (MSA, Order Form, DPA, EULA, EU Data Act Addendum, Security Policy, SOW, Supplemental T&Cs), negotiate enterprise deals, build a contract governance model and localise documents for each market, and support bids, procurement and day-to-day agreements.
• M&A and integration: lead due diligence, deal structuring and negotiations, own post-close integration of contracts, entities and policies, and secure the people side of acquisitions.
• Compliance, data protection and regulation: own a coherent compliance framework across UK and EU GDPR and the EU Data Act, act as single owner of data protection, track regulatory changes and manage disputes and exposure.
• Employment and people law: act as legal partner to People & Culture across Poland, the UK and DACH, validate HR policies and manage immigration and right to work.
• Corporate governance, IP and risk: support Board and shareholder matters, protect Group IP, align software licensing and set escalation routes for contractual and regulatory exposure.
• Build the legal function: create a clear legal front door with intake, templates and guidance, and start with a panel of external counsel, with scope to build a small in-house team.
