Transport Rate Management Specialist (12-month fixed-term)

About the role

In this role, you will maintain transport‑rate and transit‑time master data in the Transport Management System (TMS), support rate compliance and completeness analytics, and help drive standardisation, digitalisation and process improvements across the transport‑rates ecosystem.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate transport‑rate and transit‑time master data in TMS.
• Coordinate and communicate deviations in transport rates.
• Analyze transport‑rate reports, identify root causes of performance gaps using Excel, TMS, Qlik Sense and Power BI.
• Drive transport‑rate process improvements and ensure executional compliance.
• Implement and promote global logistics process standardisation.
• Improve digitalisation and AI usage within the transport‑rates ecosystem.
• Lead or contribute to projects following Philips project‑management standards and support onboarding and knowledge sharing.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management or equivalent.
• Working experience in supply chain, transport, logistics, operations or physical distribution.
• Strong analytical capability and comfort with data‑intensive activities, reporting and root‑cause analysis.
• Proactive, ownership‑driven and confident in stakeholder communication.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Excel.
• Practical experience with Transport Management System (TMS).
• Experience with Qlik Sense.
• Experience with Power BI.
