Specialized Travel Consultant

About the role

Join Amex GBT’s remote team as a Specialized Travel Consultant, providing exceptional service to corporate business clients. You will advise and arrange travel, ensuring compliance with policies and delivering a high‑quality client experience.

Key responsibilities

• Advise and arrange domestic and international business travel for individuals and groups, using GDS platforms such as Amadeus and Rail GDS.
• Conduct research on travel options, anticipate traveler needs, and promote additional services.
• Ensure compliance with customer travel policies, service provider policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with team members to mentor, coach, and improve service levels.
• Work with meeting planners and handle reservation systems and participant registration solutions.

Required profile

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in German and English.
• Strong attention to detail, structured work habits, and time‑management abilities.
• Integrity in handling personal traveler information.
• Ability to resolve customer issues quickly and independently.

Required skills

• Native expertise in Amadeus GDS (experience with Sabre, Apollo, or Galileo is a plus).
• Proficiency with MS Office, especially Excel.
• IT affinity and ability to work with reservation and registration systems.
