Specialized Travel Counselor

About the role

The Specialized Travel Counselor provides high‑touch travel and accommodation services for top corporate clients of Amex GBT, working remotely from home. You will collaborate with a team to deliver creative, timely travel solutions while ensuring a superior customer experience.

Key responsibilities

• Advise and arrange domestic and international business travel for individuals and groups, covering air, road, rail, and hotel bookings.
• Use the Amadeus Global Distribution System (GDS) to book and manage travel itineraries.
• Communicate with customers via phone, chat, email, and back‑office systems, acting as a trusted advisor.
• Proactively sell additional services while adhering to client travel policies and meet service metrics such as customer satisfaction and call adherence.

Required profile

• Previous experience in business travel, with knowledge of fares and ticketing rules for air, car, and hotel.
• Strong attention to detail, professional written and verbal communication, and ability to resolve issues independently.
• Team player who welcomes feedback and acts with integrity, protecting traveler information.

Required skills

• Native expertise in the Amadeus GDS.
