Senior Revenue Accountant

About the role

As a Senior Revenue Accountant at Levi Strauss & Co., you will lead the accounting management of revenue recognition and collections for global licensing, ensuring compliance with ASC 606 for wholesale and franchise operations. Based in Warsaw, you will work closely with finance, commercial, and sales teams to maintain a strong control environment and support strategic financial decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Manage routine sales incentives and discount accruals, performing cut‑off, pricing, and claims review analyses.
• Prepare and analytically review complex wholesale revenue recognition, including gross margin analysis, revenue cut‑off, trade discounts, incentives, and pricing.
• Review balance‑sheet reconciliations to certify integrity and accuracy, and provide commentary for monthly and quarterly closings.
• Investigate and resolve complex transaction issues, reconciling discrepancies in accruals or balances.
• Collaborate with finance and commercial operations to ensure compliance with SOX and revenue recognition policies.
• Support internal and external audit deliverables and participate in special projects led by commercial, internal control, or technology teams.
• Identify and drive process improvement and automation opportunities for accrual and journal‑entry processes.
• Produce monthly, quarterly, and annual close reporting and analysis, including retrospective and lead‑time analyses.

Required profile

• 5–7 years of accounting experience with strong knowledge of GAAP and ASC 606.
• Experience in multinational organizations, managing compliance across countries.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or related field; advanced degree or professional qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CA) preferred.
• Fluency in English, both spoken and written.
• Hybrid work arrangement based in Warsaw, with three days on‑site per week.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP systems, preferably SAP.
