Procurement Team Leader (Italian Speaking)

About the role

HITACHI ENERGY SERVICES is looking for a Procurement Team Leader to strengthen its Supply Chain Management team in Krakow. The role takes an active part in shaping the centre and involves overseeing procurement transactions, supporting the transition of Procure to Pay processes and managing a portfolio of international suppliers.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor the accurate processing of procurement transactions and oversee the organisation and work allocation for the team.
• Identify, recommend and help implement best practices to improve efficiency and productivity.
• Work closely with the Procurement Delivery Lead on goals, execution and digitalisation, set and monitor team goals and give regular feedback.
• Provide regular coaching and training to the team and support the move of Procure to Pay processes into the CSS organisation.
• Manage day-to-day activities with a portfolio of international suppliers, including PO creation, goods receipt tracking and issue resolution.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree.
• At least 4 years of experience in supply chain management or procurement.
• Direct team leadership experience is a must.
• Very good knowledge of English and very good knowledge of Italian (B2/C1).

Required skills

• Good Excel knowledge is a strong plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
