Payment Operations Specialist

About the role

Marsh, a global leader in risk, reinsurance and capital, people and investments, and management consulting, is looking for a Payment Operations Specialist based in Warsaw. The role covers financial operations across banking platforms, payment monitoring and support of audit and control processes.

Key responsibilities

• Perform financial operations in multiple banking platforms, handle urgent payments and carry out controls on incoming and outgoing payments
• Cooperate with Country Controllers on daily inquiries and monitor daily cash positioning
• Analyze and resolve payment issues, and review, approve and prepare requests for ad hoc analysis of financial information using operational and financial analytics
• Assist auditors and audit requirements and SOX testing, and contact banks to clarify payment and administrative queries
• Support the Team Leader so that month-end task deliverables are met, and coordinate onshore and offshore teams to align day-to-day accounting processes with audit and control policies

Required profile

• University degree (BA, MA)
• Good command of English
• Eagerness to learn and grow professionally, client focus and proactive approach
• Ability to work in a hybrid setting, with at least three days per week in the local office
