Cash Collection Specialist

About the role

Marsh is looking for a Cash Collection Specialist in Warsaw to identify outstanding balances and carry out collection activities, including resolving aged receivables and bad debt positions. The role sits within a high-performing, fast-paced team and supports Marsh Fiduciary KPIs such as cash collection, DRO and bad debt reduction.

Key responsibilities

• Identify outstanding balances and initiate collection activities, resolving outstanding collections.
• Investigate and report on aged receivables and bad debt positions.
• Research and investigate issues to achieve the best outcome for Marsh and its clients.
• Promote Marsh policies and procedures and apply operational controls consistently to mitigate business risk.
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with colleagues, insurers and third parties.
• Manage tasks proactively, prioritise workload to meet deadlines and targets, and handle complex or contentious issues flexibly.

Required profile

• Excellent command of spoken and written English.
• University degree (preferably in finance or economics) or a recognised accounting qualification.
• 1 to 3 years of experience in a similar role.
• Team player with attention to detail; good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Previous experience in an SSC / BPO company is an advantage.

Required skills

• Practical knowledge of Excel.
• Strong knowledge of credit management and collection procedures (a standout feature).
