Technology Risk Management and AI Governance Senior Consultant

About the role

PwC's Technology GRC team helps organisations design, implement and optimise governance, risk and compliance frameworks, with a strong focus on technology enablement. As a Senior Consultant in the Technology GRC Team in Warsaw, you will lead client engagements on the practical interpretation and implementation of legal, regulatory, ethical and governance frameworks for data and AI, such as the AI Act. You will coordinate project workstreams, support Managers with service offerings and proposals, and work with colleagues across PwC service lines and the global network. This is a full-time hybrid position.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver projects on technology governance, risk management and compliance focused on AI across industries
• Help organisations implement AI and technology-related regulatory requirements, including the AI Act and industry standards
• Monitor AI and emerging technology developments and turn them into practical solutions and recommendations
• Prepare analyses, presentations and client-facing materials on technology, risk and governance
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders across PwC and clients
• Support Managers in business development, proposal preparation and new service offerings, and build relationships with key stakeholders across the EMEA region

Required profile

• University degree in business, IT, risk management, data science, information management or a related field
• At least 3 years of experience in technology risk, AI governance, compliance, regulatory advisory or related areas
• Knowledge of AI-related regulations and standards such as the AI Act, ISO/IEC 42001 or NIST AI RMF
• Ability to turn complex regulatory requirements into practical guidance and business solutions
• Fluency in English (C1) and Polish

Required skills

• Demonstrated knowledge of new technologies and AI-powered tools in daily work (task automation, information analysis, content creation)
• Experience coordinating project activities in a fast-paced environment
• Nice to have: CISA, AIGP or ISO/IEC 42001 certifications; sector-specific regulation knowledge; Big 4 or consulting experience; risk, audit, compliance, data governance or cybersecurity experience; process mapping and control design; German B2 or higher
