GL Accountant (Polish & English Speaking)

About the role

The GL Accountant (Sr. Associate I, Accounting & Reporting) supports the GL Manager in the AGS Warsaw centre, applying accounting principles to analyse financial information and prepare reports for assigned areas.

Key responsibilities

• Drive accurate accounting and financial reporting in line with IFRS, Alcon Manual of Accounting and local legal requirements.
• Prepare monthly balance‑sheet analyses, reconciliations and journal entries.
• Ensure revenue recognition complies with IFRS/AMA standards.
• Collaborate with finance colleagues, regional reporting teams and other functional departments.

Required profile

• Degree in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent experience.
• Approximately 2 years of GL experience, preferably with SAP.
• Strong analytical and communication skills, ability to meet strict deadlines.
• Fluent in English and Polish.
