AP Specialist – Italian, French or Czech

About the role

Alcon is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist fluent in Italian and either French or Czech to support AP excellence across EMEA markets from its Warsaw hub. The role combines strong AP knowledge with solution‑driven communication to serve internal stakeholders and vendors.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with the AGS invoice processing team and provide follow‑up and resolution for invoice issues.
• Correct invoices, post non‑standard documents (tax, language‑dependent), and resolve blocked invoices and aged AP items.
• Manage service requests via ServiceNow, ensuring SLA compliance and timely business support.
• Perform SOX and other internal compliance controls.
• Partner with R2P and T&E teams to drive continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Degree in Accounting or Business Administration.
• At least 2 years of experience in an Accounts Payable function, preferably in a shared‑services environment.
• Fluent in English and Italian, plus French or Czech.

Required skills

• Proficiency with SAP.
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills.
• Experience using ServiceNow for ticket management.
