Finance Manager – Internal Accounting (Mid‑Level)

About the role

SoftSwiss is expanding its finance team and seeks a mid‑level Finance Manager focused on internal accounting. You will support month‑end closing, cost allocation and transactional accounting across multiple business lines and legal entities, ensuring accuracy and timely reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in the monthly cost allocation process for products, business lines and legal entities.
• Prepare and calculate allocations of shared and overhead expenses.
• Support month‑end close activities, including cost allocations, revenue accruals and cut‑off procedures.
• Assist with AR/AP closing tasks and perform reconciliations of allocated costs.
• Review and validate primary accounting data for completeness and accuracy.
• Support revenue recognition processes and ensure proper cut‑off.
• Analyze variances, investigate discrepancies and provide analytical support.
• Collaborate with FP&A, Business Lines Finance, HR, IT and Group Closing teams.
• Contribute to process improvements and automation initiatives in management accounting.

Required profile

• Higher education in Finance, Accounting or a related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in management accounting, cost accounting or general accounting.
• Hands‑on experience with month‑end closing and cost allocation principles.
• Intermediate or higher English proficiency and fluency in Russian.
• Strong attention to detail, ability to meet deadlines and a structured, responsible approach.

Required skills

• Advanced MS Excel (formulas, pivot tables, large data sets).
• Experience with ERP/accounting systems such as 1C, Xero or similar.
