Accounts Receivable Accountant

About the role

As an Accounts Receivable Accountant you will own the end‑to‑end AR process, ensuring accurate billing, cash allocation, Stripe reconciliation and collections across multiple European markets. You will also help shape and automate AR workflows to support Plancraft’s rapid growth.

Key responsibilities

• Manage invoicing, cash allocation, open items and the AR sub‑ledger, reconciling to the general ledger at month‑end.
• Own Stripe operations within Finance, handling payouts, fees, disputes and ensuring full reconciliation.
• Run collections, dunning workflows and coordinate with external partners, maintaining transparent case management.
• Process credit notes, write‑offs and apply VAT rules consistently across markets.
• Create and maintain SOPs, controls and documentation, and identify automation opportunities.

Required profile

• 2+ years of hands‑on Accounts Receivable experience in a SaaS or digital business.
• Fluent English communication skills, both written and spoken.
• Strong understanding of end‑to‑end AR processes, including invoicing, cash allocation and month‑end close.
• Experience working with a payment platform such as Stripe and reconciling it to an ERP/accounting system.
• Knowledge of European VAT on receivables and experience across multiple countries.
