Accounting and Reporting Supervisor

About the role

Marsh is looking for an Accounting and Reporting Supervisor to join its Captive Operations Group in Warsaw. This hybrid position requires at least three days a week in the office and involves handling accounting, regulatory compliance, and administrative tasks for a portfolio of captive insurance companies and other clients.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare financial statements under IFRS and local GAAP for multiple clients.
• Reconcile and post insurance transactions, calculate reserves, and track claim activity.
• Valuate investment portfolios and post all monthly closing transactions.
• Assist in annual audits, regulatory filings (local, Solvency II), and board‑meeting material preparation.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of finance/accounting/controllership experience in insurance, brokerage, or audit.
• Strong planning, organization, and communication skills in English and Polish.
• Critical thinking, problem‑solving ability, and attention to detail.

Required skills

• Proficiency with IFRS and local GAAP reporting standards.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel (formulas, data analysis) and Microsoft Office.
