Senior Site Reliability Engineer

About the role

SOFTSWISS is seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to join its Sportsbook team. You will work on a high‑load, production‑critical platform, combining backend engineering with operational responsibility to keep services stable and performant.

Key responsibilities

• Investigate and resolve production incidents across multiple services and integrations.
• Perform deep debugging using logs, traces, metrics, and database queries to pinpoint root causes.
• Optimize system performance, including PostgreSQL query tuning and caching strategies.
• Manage Kubernetes environments – deployments, configuration, scaling, and troubleshooting.
• Improve observability with Grafana dashboards and the ELK stack.
• Maintain integrations between Sportsbook services and external client platforms.
• Set up new projects and environments related to the Sportsbook product.
• Develop internal tooling and automation in Go to reduce manual operational work.
• Work with messaging systems such as Kafka and RabbitMQ, diagnosing related issues.
• Collaborate with developers, QA, and DevOps to enhance system stability.

Required profile

• Strong hands‑on experience with Go in production environments.
• Proven ability to debug complex, distributed systems under load.
• Experience with PostgreSQL performance tuning and query analysis.
• Solid knowledge of Kubernetes operations.
• Familiarity with observability tools like Grafana and ELK.
• Comfortable handling production incidents independently.
