Senior Manual QA Engineer

About the role

SOFTSWISS is seeking a Senior Manual QA Engineer to own quality assurance for its high‑load Game Aggregator platform. You will work closely with product, infrastructure and business teams to ensure reliable, secure and scalable operations.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute test strategy, checklists and test cases for the product team.
• Measure product quality with meaningful QA metrics and report status, risks and plans.
• Review feature requirements early, surface gaps and risks before development.
• Lead releases as the responsible QA, monitor deployment results in production.
• Diagnose defects, track them from discovery to resolution and validate data directly in databases.

Required profile

• 4+ years of QA experience on server‑side / backend applications.
• Strong test design, risk‑based prioritisation and exploratory testing skills.
• Proven ability to improve QA processes in mixed Scrum / non‑Scrum environments.
• Hands‑on experience with microservice‑based systems and API testing.
• Upper‑intermediate English (B2) or higher, good communication skills.

Required skills

• API testing with Postman and REST APIs.
• CI/CD pipeline knowledge (GitLab CI).
• Bug tracking and structured defect management in Jira.
• Log analysis and observability using ELK and Grafana.
• Microservice architecture understanding.
