Senior Engineer – Open Banking (Europe)

About the role

Senior Engineers on Mastercard’s Open Banking platform design, develop and maintain high‑quality connectivity solutions that link banks across Europe. You will work with cutting‑edge account information and payment initiation APIs, ensuring secure, reliable data exchange for our customers.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain APIs built in C#/.NET and ASP.NET that enable account information and payment initiation services.
• Deploy and operate services on cloud platforms such as Azure and AWS, using modern DevOps practices.
• Address complex challenges in API security, data accessibility, processing and analysis.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams located in Denmark, Ireland and Poland to deliver end‑to‑end solutions.

Required profile

• Strong motivation to work in a collaborative, high‑performing team.
• Experience with Microsoft technologies (C#.NET, ASP.NET) and cloud environments.
• Familiarity with modern development standards, ticketing systems (Azure DevOps), version control, test automation and CI/CD pipelines.
• Interest in infrastructure‑as‑code (Terraform) and computer security concepts such as certificates and HTTPS.
