Sales Configurator Product Modeler / Developer

About the role

ABB is looking for a Sales Configurator Product Modeler / Developer in Krakow, reporting to the Innovation Enablement Manager. You will join a cross-functional team developing and maintaining sales configurator solutions for ABB Electrification's Distribution Solution (ELDS) and Service (ELSE) businesses, in an international setting. The work model is hybrid.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, test and troubleshoot product models for ELDS and ELSE.
• Develop product models as defined by Product Managers, Sales Configurator Portfolio Managers and Engineers, keeping them well structured so that changes are easy to manage and future maintenance is simplified.
• Work with IS and business stakeholders to deliver a user-friendly and efficient Sales Configurator solution.
• Work with the platform supplier / implementation partner to keep the product model consistent as the platform evolves.
• Provide technical support, troubleshooting and fixes for issues reported by users.
• Contribute to the overall sales configurator development process.

Required profile

• Highly skilled in product modelling and configuration within sales configurator tools, in the industrial technology and engineering sector.
• Solid experience in the software development lifecycle, including tools such as Azure DevOps.
• Proven experience or strong understanding of industrial product portfolios; knowledge of ABB's DS and SE Division portfolio is a plus.
• Team player who is proactive, solution-oriented and independent, and comfortable in agile, fast-paced environments.

Required skills

• Programming in .NET, Python, Java or similar technologies.
• Configurator platforms; experience with Configit ACE is considered an advantage.
