OSINT Analyst

About the role

Swarmer develops autonomous drone software and was the first Ukrainian defense startup to go public on NASDAQ in March 2026. It is looking for a mid-level OSINT Analyst to support its Security Team in a fast-paced defense-tech environment. The role focuses on background checks, due diligence, sanctions screening and identifying security, insider, reputational and geopolitical risks.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct OSINT-based background checks on candidates in Ukraine and other European countries
• Research and verify information using open and professional sources such as public registries, corporate databases, media and social networks
• Carry out sanctions, watchlist, adverse media and reputational risk screening
• Identify potential security, insider, reputational, compliance and geopolitical risks
• Prepare clear, structured background check reports with key findings, risk indicators and an overall assessment
• Handle personal and sensitive information in line with confidentiality, data protection and internal security procedures
• Support merger and acquisition and partnership due diligence

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in OSINT, background screening, due diligence, investigations or a related field
• Experience conducting background checks on individuals and companies in Ukraine and other European countries
• Strong analytical skills and ability to connect the dots across large volumes of information
• Ability to verify information from multiple independent sources and assess its reliability
• English at B2 level or higher
• An advantage: higher education in IT, analytics, cybersecurity, intelligence, law or a related field, and experience in intelligence analysis or verifying and geolocating visual content
