Junior HR Specialist - Czech Speaker

About the role

ABB's Global People Development Operations Team in Krakow is looking for a motivated and curious Junior HR Specialist to join its international HR organization. The role reports to the HR Team Lead and supports global People Development and Learning & Development activities. It suits someone organized and communicative, proactive and comfortable with change, automation and digitalization, and the work model is hybrid.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate global People Development and Learning & Development activities, including schedules, participants, trainers, communication, materials and on-site or virtual support for selected events.
• Maintain and update records, documentation, systems and reports, and support broader HR administrative and operational tasks.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and HR colleagues across countries and regions.
• Identify opportunities to simplify and improve processes and suggest improvements based on recurring issues and team needs.
• Contribute to automation and digitalization initiatives, supporting the testing and implementation of new tools and ways of working.
• Help the team adopt new processes and solutions during periods of change.

Required profile

• Fluent written and spoken English and Czech at C1 level, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational, coordination and time-management skills, able to handle multiple priorities.
• Proactive, solution-oriented and willing to take ownership in a global, multicultural team.
• Previous experience in HR, People Development, Learning & Development, operations or coordination is an advantage; experience in an international or shared-services environment is also an advantage.

Required skills

• Familiarity with LMS or other HR systems is an advantage.
• Interest in process automation and workflow improvement, including Power Automate, Power BI, Excel, AI tools or similar digital solutions, is an advantage.
