About the role
As a Global Logistics Control Tower Specialist you will lead and coordinate international ocean and air shipments from our Wroclaw hub, ensuring timely execution and rapid issue resolution. You will work closely with carriers, freight forwarders, suppliers and internal teams to keep the global supply chain moving smoothly.
Key responsibilities
- Lead global ocean and air import/export operations within the Global Control Tower.
- Coordinate end‑to‑end international shipments to ensure on‑time execution and fast issue resolution.
- Partner with carriers, freight forwarders, suppliers, plants, distribution centres and internal teams.
- Support strategic logistics projects, including visibility initiatives and digital tools such as FourKites.
- Act as a key logistics expert in shipment planning, booking, tracking, exception management and service recovery.
- Improve vendor coordination, shipment readiness, documentation quality and transportation compliance.
- Analyze logistics performance and transportation data to identify opportunities to improve service, visibility and cost.
- Create dashboards, KPI reports, process documentation and standard procedures.
- Collaborate across procurement, planning, manufacturing, customer operations and regional logistics teams.
- Support continuous improvement across international logistics operations and control tower governance.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, Operations, Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in international logistics, transportation, freight forwarding, import/export operations or supply chain roles.
- Proven experience managing ocean and air transportation operations, including inbound and outbound shipment execution.
- Experience working with freight forwarders, carriers, customs brokers, 3PLs and cross‑functional internal stakeholders in a global environment.
- Demonstrated project‑management experience with ability to support or lead logistics improvement initiatives.
- Strong analytical, communication and stakeholder‑management skills, with ability to operate independently in a fast‑paced, complex international environment.
