Front-End Software Engineer (React, Java, Cloud)

About the role

BlackLine is hiring a Front-End Software Engineer for its UI Platform team in Krakow. The role focuses on front-end development in React, including the shared component library and the App Shell that powers the enterprise web platform, while also giving hands-on experience with Java backend services, cloud architecture and CI/CD.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the shared React-based component library, adding new components and improving existing ones.
• Contribute to the React-based micro-frontend App Shell and help migrate legacy .NET applications to modern React solutions.
• Implement and maintain backend services in Java, including production logic used by the front end.
• Work with cloud-native architecture (e.g. GCP), configure and monitor CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions) and use Terraform for cloud deployments.
• Write clean, tested front-end code (unit and integration tests) and take part in code reviews and bug fixing.

Required profile

• 2-4 years of professional software development experience.
• Strong JavaScript/TypeScript and React skills, plus hands-on Java backend experience.
• Practical cloud-native experience (GCP or comparable), CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code tools.
• Solid understanding of the full software development lifecycle.
• Familiarity with Webpack and npm.
• Proactive attitude towards learning design systems, micro-frontends and cloud architecture.

• Total base pay range of 201,000 to 252,000 PLN per year.
