Customer Relation Specialist

About the role

Amex GBT is looking for a bilingual German‑English Customer Relation Specialist to join its Client Services team. You will be the primary voice for customers, turning dissatisfied clients into loyal promoters through empathetic communication and proactive issue resolution.

Key responsibilities

• Convert dissatisfied customers into promoters via phone and email, delivering transparent and empathetic service recovery.
• Serve as the main point of contact, managing expectations and communicating resolutions clearly.
• Monitor cases, follow up with suppliers and internal teams, and support Account Managers.
• Handle escalations and disputes with precision and professionalism.
• Liaise with internal departments and external providers to coordinate resolutions and keep customers informed.

Required profile

• Proven experience in business‑travel customer service or incident resolution.
• Fluent written and spoken German and strong English communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and relationship‑building abilities.
• Active listening skills and ability to translate customer needs across teams.

• Microsoft Office proficiency
• Amadeus GDS experience
