Test Automation Engineer - Cards (Polish Mandatory)

About the role

Capco Poland, a global technology and management consulting firm, is looking for an experienced Senior Test Automation Consultant to support large-scale banking and payments transformation programmes. The role focuses on designing and implementing robust automation solutions that improve testing efficiency, increase coverage across critical MVP paths and support high-quality software delivery. It works closely with manual testers, developers and programme stakeholders to define automation priorities, maintain automation frameworks and contribute to continuous quality assurance across card and banking platforms. Fluent Polish is mandatory.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and implement regression test automation for critical MVP business and system paths
• Build and maintain the MVP Regression Pack to support repeatable and scalable testing
• Automate smoke and regression test scenarios where environments, integrations and test data are available
• Maintain automation scripts, analyse execution results and report clearly on test outcomes
• Work with manual testers and QA teams to identify and prioritise scenarios for automation coverage

Required profile

• Proven test automation experience in banking, payments or enterprise technology environments
• Experience developing and maintaining regression and smoke automation suites
• Experience with card issuing, payments or transaction processing systems
• Experience in agile delivery environments
• Fluent spoken and written Polish; good English for documentation and collaboration

Required skills

• Automation frameworks and scripting languages, and best practices
• CI/CD pipelines, test management tools and defect tracking platforms
• Tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, RestAssured or similar
• API, integration and end-to-end automation testing
• ISTQB or automation-related certification

The engagement is offered under a flexible B2B contract, with a hybrid working arrangement (#LI-HYBRID). The online process includes a screening call with the recruiter, a technical interview with the hiring manager, a client interview and then feedback or an offer.
