Software/Programmer Engineer – Medical Devices

About the role

LiNA Medical Polska, a manufacturer of minimally invasive gynaecological medical devices, is looking for a Software/Programmer Engineer in Poznań. The application has been closed and this is an archived listing, but the job description remains available.

Key responsibilities

• Take part in R&D projects for new medical devices
• Contribute to software development activities
• Prepare technical and quality documentation related to software development
• Write and update source code
• Design and run tests on prototypes
• Cooperate with technical consultants and suppliers

Required profile

• Background in computer science, programming, robotics or a similar IT field
• At least 3 years of software development experience with coding principles
• Ability to work both as a standalone developer and as a team player
• Experience with laboratory equipment
• English at B1 level (speaking, reading, writing)

Required skills

• Embedded C/C++ programming (mid/high skill); Microchip dsPIC / STM32F7 is an advantage
• Software lifecycle: design architecture, coding, testing levels and release
• Unit and integration testing
• SW validation, preferably with IEC 62304
• Simulation and data statistics tools: Octave/MatLab, Python
• Serial interfaces: UART, I2C, SPI, MODBUS
• Documentation tools such as Doxygen
• GIT version control or similar
