About the role
LiNA Medical Polska, a manufacturer of minimally invasive gynaecological medical devices, is looking for a Senior Electronic Engineer in Poznań. You will join an R&D project-oriented organisation working on OEM or COM products, designing, implementing and verifying hardware used in advanced medical devices used by surgeons and nurses in the operating room. You will advise project leaders, manage deliverables within deadlines and support clients and contractors.
Key responsibilities
- Take part in R&D projects for new medical devices
- Manage software development activities
- Prepare technical and quality documentation for software development
- Design and run tests on prototypes
- Cooperate with technical consultants and suppliers
- Support the service hub and the implementation and development of software for production applications, then support their validation
Required profile
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or a related technical field
- At least 3 years of experience in a similar position
- Practical experience in medical device software development preferred
- Extensive knowledge of software validation, software quality or software engineering (coding not required)
- Experience with laboratory equipment and unit/integration level testing
- Understanding of FDA 21 CFR 820 and IEC 62304 is highly desired
- English at B1 level (speaking, reading, writing)
Required skills
- Embedded C/C++ programming (mid/high skill; Microchip advantage)
- CI/CD testing tools and test script development
- MISRA C (nice to have)
- Basic knowledge of Octave, MATLAB or Python for documenting scripts
- Documentation skills: architecture and detailed design documents
- Ability to use measuring equipment
