Service Tech Lead - Data Warehousing & BI

About the role

IQVIA is looking for a Service Tech Lead in Warsaw to join its Regional EMEA Performance and Information Management team. The role sits within the Service and Support Team and involves maintaining data warehousing and business intelligence solutions and overseeing development activities, while working closely with clients to help them benefit from IQVIA's data assets and technology solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead teams in solving complex issues or implementing enhancements to technology-based services or components of larger projects.
• Analyze client requirements and problems and propose cost-effective solutions.
• Perform qualitative and quantitative analyses to identify client issues and develop tailored solutions.
• Design, structure and deliver client reports and presentations, and recommend improvements and alternatives.
• Follow up with internal and external clients to ensure satisfaction.
• Develop deeper knowledge of technology solutions and trends in the pharmaceutical, healthcare and life sciences markets, and build subject-matter expertise in technology and applications consulting or functional areas.
• Manage work streams, assign tasks and drive them to completion; may assist with business development.

Required profile

• MSc degree or equivalent, ideally in Computer Science, Electronics or a related technical area.
• 3+ years of related experience in consulting or services delivery, preferably in the pharmaceutical, healthcare or life sciences industry.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, juggle priorities and deliver on tight deadlines.
• Very good command of Polish and English.

Required skills

• Technical architecture, design or development experience in analytics, data warehousing and business intelligence.
• Desirable: experience with Exasol, AWS, Oracle, Hadoop, SQL Server, Snowflake or column-oriented DBMS.
• Solid project management, client influence and relationship-building skills.
• Excellent presentation, communication and client-facing skills.
