Senior User Acquisition Manager

About the role

Bratte is building Animates, an AI companion app with its own on-device animation model, and is hiring its first marketing hire. The company has a live product and a community but no paid acquisition yet, so the role is to build the user acquisition function from scratch and work directly with the founders.

Key responsibilities

• Paid user acquisition from zero: choose channels, design the media plan and test structure, and set budget logic
• Find winning combinations of geo, channel, creative and audience
• Set up MMP, attribution, cohorts and track CAC, ROAS and LTV
• Brief creatives initially, then help hire a dedicated creative producer and set up the production pipeline
• Handle store and platform moderation, given the sensitive nature of AI companions

Required profile

• 4+ years in paid UA on mobile consumer products; gaming or entertainment is a strong plus
• Buying experience in Japan or across Asia (the most important factor)
• Experience running meaningful budgets and scaling them
• Hands-on experience with mobile ad networks such as AppLovin, Unity, Moloco, Mintegral and Liftoff
• Meta and TikTok buying, Google App Campaigns as a baseline, and Apple Search Ads and Japanese platforms (LINE Ads, Yahoo! Japan) are a strong signal
• Ability to read cohorts before spend and to kill underperforming campaigns
• Working English, plus Russian, Ukrainian or Belarusian
