Senior Software Developer SAP ABAP for S/4 HANA (f/m)

About the role

As a Senior Software Developer you will design, build, test and deploy new capabilities for the Foreign Trade Classification Data (FTCD) product, a core S/4 HANA master‑data solution used globally by Bosch divisions. You will work on complex business rules and CDS views to create a centrally governed system that processes classification data across integrated ERP landscapes.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain SAP ABAP, BRF+, AMDP and CDS view code to meet group‑level business requirements.
• Analyse requirements with customers and senior architects, produce technical designs and ensure quality through unit testing and integration support.
• Collaborate with architects and functional consultants to deliver user stories within committed timeframes.
• Provide 3rd‑level support for defects found in production and drive quality standards within the software engineering community.

Required profile

• Several years of hands‑on development experience on SAP S/4 HANA, including ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model (RAP).
• Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions and to argue implementation decisions to architects and customers.
