Senior Business Analyst (Data & Analytics)

About the role

Capco Poland, a global technology and management consulting firm focused on digital transformation in banking, payments, capital markets, wealth and asset management, is looking for a Poland-based Senior Business Analyst specialising in data analysis. The role sits within the Business Consulting practice and is hybrid, possibly requiring office work in Krakow. You will partner with business stakeholders and Go-to-Market teams to improve data quality and support better business decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse existing data models, schemas and data flows across multiple systems
• Identify duplicate, inconsistent and low-quality data and determine its root causes
• Perform data analysis to uncover trends, risks and opportunities, and present findings and recommendations to stakeholders
• Recommend practical improvements to data quality at source, including process enhancements and data governance opportunities
• Produce documentation, reports and roadmaps for data improvement initiatives

Required profile

• 8+ years of experience as a Business Analyst with a focus on data analysis, data quality or data governance
• Ability to explain analytical findings to technical and non-technical audiences
• Bonus points: financial services or other regulated industry experience, familiarity with data governance, MDM or data quality frameworks, enterprise data transformation or migration experience, and relevant certifications

Required skills

• Understanding of data structures, relational databases and data schemas
• SQL, Power BI, Tableau, Excel or other data analysis and visualisation tools
• Experience analysing data from multiple sources to spot duplicates and inconsistencies
