O2C Analyst - Collections (French Speaking)

About the role

Brenntag is looking for a French-speaking Junior Collections Specialist in Łódź, city centre, working in a hybrid model of three days in the office. The role leads collection operations and ensures consistent performance across receivable portfolios, focusing on escalated cases, collection efficiency and support of doubtful debt provisioning. It sits in a transition environment, so experience in transition or migration projects is a strong asset.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure collection processes comply with company policies, procedures and service level agreements
• Lead daily collection operations to secure timely, accurate cash collection and up-to-date AR balances
• Oversee receivable portfolios so past-due balances stay within agreed targets
• Handle complex and escalated customer disputes and payment issues
• Propose improvements to the doubtful debt provisioning process
• Analyse scheduled and ad-hoc financial and performance reports and monitor collection KPIs such as collection rate, past-due accounts and cycle time
• Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure high-quality, timely service
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and coach and guide team members

Required profile

• Degree in Finance, Accounting or equivalent qualification
• 1-2 years of relevant professional experience
• Experience in Collections, Accounts Receivable and a shared services environment
• Mandatory hands-on experience in Collections (not limited to Cash Application or Credit Control)
• Experience in transition or migration projects is a strong asset; accounting experience is an advantage
• Good verbal and written communication in English and French at Level C

Required skills

• Advanced knowledge of ERP systems and MS Office tools
• Leadership, organisational and analytical skills
