Marketing and Business Development Specialist (Fixed Term)

About the role

Dentons Business Services EMEA, the operational arm of the world's largest law firm serving clients across Europe, the Middle East and Africa, is hiring a Marketing and Business Development Specialist for its UK, Ireland and Middle East region. The role covers campaigns, events, sponsorship management, directory submissions, thought leadership, client relationship management and client targeting. It is a fixed-term contract of 15 months maternity cover, hybrid with 1-2 days per week in the Warsaw office, and follows UK working hours (10 am - 6 pm).

Key responsibilities

• Profile raising: prepare award entries and legal directory submissions, maintain website and social media content with the Communications team, and keep materials aligned with brand guidelines.
• Winning work: support proposal production (content, editing, branding, pricing compliance), collaborate with the Senior BD Manager, track proposal outcomes and research organisations, sectors and individuals.
• Events and sponsorship: help plan and run client events (in-person and virtual), draft invitations, manage logistics and mailing lists, and track sponsorship ROI.
• Campaign management: support campaign development, draft and design marketing content, and work with the Digital Marketing team on online rollout and ROI tracking.

Required profile

• Experience in a legal and/or professional services environment.
• Broad marketing and organisational experience; experience managing the legal directories process is preferable.
• Graduate-level education with a marketing or communications qualification (e.g. CIM).
• Strong written and oral communication, attention to detail, and ability to manage expectations.

Required skills

• Working knowledge of Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
• Ability to build trust with fee-earning teams and stakeholders, and to take on extra responsibility.
