Lead Research Analyst (Lithuanian or Latvian)

About the role

LSEG's World-Check team is growing its department and is hiring a Research Analyst in its Gdynia office, working with colleagues in other locations. The role centres on searching and analysing information from reputable sources about publicly exposed persons (PEPs), companies and institutions, supporting clients' Know Your Customer (KYC) obligations and reducing financial or reputational risk. Presence in the office is required at least three times a week.

Key responsibilities

• Research reputable media, government, regulatory and law enforcement sources to build and maintain data in LSEG applications
• Use open-source research methods to gather information in the public domain
• Identify regulatory and financial risks such as money laundering, fraud, organised crime, narcotics trafficking and corruption
• Stay up to date with guidelines and regulations to ensure accuracy and quality
• Collaborate with globally based teams on shared projects

Required profile

• Proficiency in English and Lithuanian or Latvian; another language is helpful
• Critical thinking, analytical skills and attention to detail
• Organisation skills and very good written and verbal communication
• Knowledge of the socio-political context of the countries matching your language skills is desirable
• AML, KYC and financial crime knowledge and experience is an advantage

• Anticipated annual gross base salary of 80,000 to 128,000 PLN, depending on location and experience
