Junior HR Specialist with German (Temporary)

About the role

ABB is looking for a Junior HR Specialist with German for a temporary, 6-month fixed-term position in its HR Operational Services in Krakow. The role reports to the HR Team Lead and covers day-to-day HR transactions for Germany within the Employee Life Cycle Management service line, with a hybrid work model.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver HR services in line with agreed business processes, KPIs and quality targets, with end-to-end responsibility.
• Handle complex business cases and collaborate across countries and functions.
• Identify process gaps, own root cause analyses and look for improvements or simplifications.
• Perform control tasks independently, including 4-eye checks, SOX controls, data protection compliance and country-specific regulatory checks.

Required profile

• 2+ years of experience in HR operations with an accurate approach to service delivery.
• Degree in Business Administration, HR or a related field.
• Fluent English and German, able to support internal stakeholders in the DACH region.

Required skills

• Experience delivering HR shared services, especially in employee life cycle areas.
• Knowledge of SAP, Workday and ServiceNow is an asset.
