HR Specialist with German (Temporary)

About the role

ABB is looking for an HR Specialist with German for a temporary role in its HR Services team in Krakow. The specialist handles day-to-day HR transactions for the Service Lines of Employee Life Cycle Management, Global Mobility and Compensation & Performance covering Germany and Austria, within a hybrid work model. The role contributes to HR Operational Services in Krakow and reports to the HR Team Lead.

Key responsibilities

• Execute and deliver HR services in line with agreed business processes, KPIs and quality targets, with end-to-end responsibility
• Carry out control tasks independently, including 4-eye-check and SOX checks, data protection and country legal/regulatory compliance
• Act as point of contact for HR-related inquiries and support across several service lines
• Spot deficiencies in existing processes and recommend improvements or simplifications
• Resolve root cause analyses on time and highlight process gaps to improve efficiency

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in HR Shared Services, such as Employee Life Cycle Management, Talent Acquisition or Global Mobility and Compensation & Performance
• Fluent English and German
• Bachelor's degree and a proactive, customer-focused "can-do" attitude
• Ability to manage multiple demands and work in cross-functional teams

Required skills

• SAP and MS Office
• Familiarity with SNOW is beneficial
• Strong written and spoken communication
