Indirect Materials Buyer

Join a team that plays a critical role in keeping manufacturing operations running efficiently and effectively. As an Indirect Materials Buyer you will secure the materials and services that enable business success while building strong supplier partnerships.

Key responsibilities

• Execute purchasing activities for indirect categories such as MRO supplies, facility materials, tooling, safety equipment and general services.
• Support sourcing projects by preparing RFQs, evaluating suppliers and participating in negotiations.
• Manage supplier relationships to ensure quality, reliability, delivery performance and compliance.
• Coordinate supplier onboarding and maintain accurate procurement documentation.
• Monitor supplier performance, address service or delivery issues and track procurement metrics.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, supply chain or manufacturing operations.
• Professional proficiency in written and spoken English.
• Experience in a regulated industry such as medical devices, pharmaceuticals or aerospace.

Required skills

• Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
• SAP, SAP Ariba or similar procurement systems.
• Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma or continuous improvement methodologies.
