Senior Staff Production Supervisor

About the role

Lead a highly skilled production team at Stryker, manufacturing stainless steel and titanium implants and surgical instruments in a regulated medical‑device environment. Drive operational excellence, safety, quality and productivity while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and develop production teams to meet safety, quality, delivery and productivity targets.
• Plan workforce availability and allocate resources to ensure on‑time production schedules.
• Recruit, onboard and develop team members, establishing competency frameworks.
• Monitor and report key performance indicators through team meetings and visual management.
• Oversee documentation control, equipment management and compliance with procedures.
• Ensure effective in‑process inspections and final product acceptance.
• Drive Lean‑based continuous improvement projects focused on safety, quality, cost and efficiency.
• Develop departmental budgets and operational strategies for long‑term growth.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering, Technical Studies, Manufacturing, Production Management or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of production management experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Working proficiency in Polish and English.
• Experience in regulated manufacturing (medical devices, aerospace or automotive) is preferred.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Knowledge of Lean manufacturing methodologies (TPM, 5S, Kaizen, etc.).
• Experience supporting CNC machining processes such as milling, grinding or Swiss‑type turning.
